Tour Itinerary

Reservations and Deposits:

Reservations are subject to availability and can only be confirmed upon receipt of the completed tour booking form together with a non-refundable 50% deposit of AUD$4,800.00 per person including GST for the earlybird rate. Reservations are accepted subject to the discretion of the tour organisers. After the earlybird period has passed, the full tour price is AUD$6,000.00 per person.

Payments:

A 50% deposit is due immediately on booking. The balance must be received BEFORE 26 January 2012. If the balance is not received the tour organisers reserve the right to cancel and remove that reservation from the tour and / or charge the full tour rate.

Cancellation of Booking 


Cancellation from application to 20 June 2011 is 50% of the tour price (i.e. deposit paid).

Cancellations after 20 June 2011 is 100% of all monies paid (ie. no refunds entertained after 20 June 2011).

Alteration to Tour Prices

The tour fares are based on airfares and exchange rates as at the date of posting/printing being 13 September 2011.

Included airfares are an estimate only as at the date above. If prior to full payment (deposit + balance) being made by the passenger(s), there are any increases to the estimated airfare or associated taxes and fuel charges, this will be communicated to and must be borne by the passenger(s). Should this additional increase be unacceptable, the passenger(s) reserves the right to cancel the reservations held, subject to the cancellation charges as detailed in Clause 3 above.

If prior to full payment (deposit + balance) being made by the passenger(s), there are significant international currency fluctuations or amendments to the accommodation necessitated by unforeseen circumstances, the cost will be adjusted accordingly, and the additional cost, if any, must be paid by the passenger(s). Should this additional increase be unacceptable, the passenger(s) reserves the right to cancel the reservations held, subject to the cancellation charges as detailed in Clause 3 above.
If a passenger/s chooses to make any alterations to the travel itinerary, they will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and airport transfers at their own cost.

It is also the responsibility of the passenger/s to arrive to the destination by the specified date / time of the tour commencement as the tour organisers will bear no responsibility for any missed or unused portions of the tour itinerary.

Itineraries and Schedules

The tours are based on published airline schedules, current at the time of printing, which are subject to alternation without notice by the airlines.

Unused Tour Services

Refunds will not be made in respect of unused accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transfers, or any other services, which are included in the tour cost, but not utilised by the tour member(s), or as a result of flight delays/cancellations by the airlines.

Tours Fares Include


Hotel accommodation – provided on the basis of two persons sharing a standard twin bedroom in a 4-star hotel as specified.
Occupancy of a single room by choice or upgrades to accommodation types are available and subject to payment of the quoted supplement.

Standard admission - to ALL of the following sights:
• Empire State Building
• The Metropolitan Museum of Art
• American Museum of Natural History
• MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art)
With the following additional options
• Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island OR Circle Line Cruise
• Guggenheim Museum OR Top of the Rock

Style workshop - as indicated in itinerary

Stylists - to accompany any pre-arranged style / fashion activities as indicated in itinerary

Meals – as indicated in the itinerary.

Airport transfers - to and from JFK Airport in New York, USA on dates of arrival and departure as outlined.

Baggage allowance – as per the regulations of the participating airlines.

Local Government Service Charges and Taxes – all relevant hotel service charges and government/municipal taxes on the arranged accommodation as scheduled in the itinerary at the time of posting/printing. All airline departure taxes and fuel surcharges are included in the airline ticket.

Tour Fares Do Not Include 


Charges for passports, visas, meals not specified in the itinerary, in-room mini bar consumables or additional hotel amenities outside of those specified, gratuities to hotel, restaurant, transport or store service staff, laundry, excess baggage charges, items of personal nature, any expense in Australia to arrive in Sydney for the departure flight, and travel insurance cover.

Insurance Cover


It is compulsory that at the time of making a reservation you take out travel insurance. The policy you choose must include – loss of deposits through cancellation, loss of personal baggage and money, medical expenses, cover for death and disability and additional expenses to cover curtailment of your tour whilst overseas.

GST (Australian)
- The Australian Goods and Services Tax is included in the relevant itinerary costs at 10%. Any increase in this levy will be borne by passenger(s). 


Responsibility


Smitten With Style shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be caused or arising during this tour.

It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that s/he is in possession of the other travel documents and that they are in compliance with the current government and transportation companies’ regulations. The right is reserved to modify the itinerary in any way considered necessary or desirable or to change any reservation and/or means of conveyance, without notice and for any reasons whatsoever and without allowance or refund but the extra cost, if any, resulting there from may by paid by the passenger as outlined under Clause 4. The right is also reserved to cancel or withdraw the tour or any reservations made for a passenger or decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour for any reason whatsoever. Smitten With Style can at any time, cancel the tour if it considered that there are not sufficient participants to constitute a viable travel group. Refunds may be applicable subject to Clause 3. The act of signing a completed Booking Form shall be deemed consent to the above conditions.
